EdgeVision

The EdgeVision system is a software package developed for the Gerber DCS 3500 Cutter. It is capable of automatically cutting of borders of rubber or PVC dust mats or printed squared designs.

The software works in combination with a MAS scanner that will capture an image of the fabric while transportedonto the cutter. The acquired image will be processed by the software. After processing the software will automatically generate a cut-file. The cutter will pick up this cutfile and will cut the material. After setting up the software with the correct parameters no user interaction is required.

Application range

The software can be used for a wide range of products. 2 typical applications are:

PVC dust mats/Rubber dust mats

The software detects the fabric of the PVC mats and will automatically cut around the fabric with a predefined offset.

Printed squared products (Textile window shades)

The software detects the outline of the printed design and cuts around it with a predefined (negative or positive) offset.
