MAS (Multiple Array Scanner)

The MAS (multi array scanner) is a scanner that is able to scan 1 to 50 lines of one to more than 35000 pixels per line in one time. The housing is constructed with extruded black anodised aluminium profiles and has a coated glass window. As the scanner is a modular system the scanner can be ordered with a scanning width from 1 to 16 sections of 32 cm. To reduce noise it is possible to bin adjacent pixels (2x2). When doing this, the resolution will decrease by a factor 2. S-LINK that uses a 4 pair shielded cable, is used for data transfer in both directions and
also the power needed for 6 sections at most. If more than 6 sections are used, an extra power connection of 5 volt is necessary. The MAS-T is electronically the same as the MAS but has extra optics to scan with a maximum divergence of 2° at a close working distance of 150 mm. Because of the extra
optics, the size differs from the MAS.
